Responsibilities

• Assist with the preparation of medication orders by compounding medications under supervision.
• Verify patient information and proper physician authorization.
• Calculate correct dosage volumes, converting between metric and apothecary equivalents.

Skills

IV sterile compounding experience

Entry‑level experience in a pharmacy

Certified Pharmacy Technician certificate

Education

High school diploma or equivalent

Completion of an ASHP accredited program
