Job summary

Commonpoint in New York is seeking an experienced HR Operations and Process Improvement Consultant to lead an onboarding stabilization and process improvement project across a multi-site nonprofit. Working with HR, IT, Payroll, and leadership, you will assess current practices, stabilize operations, and develop standardized, scalable workflows.

You will design tools, templates, and SOPs, and support Workday and related HR systems to improve efficiency, compliance, and the employee experience.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in HR Operations, Organizational Development, or HR consulting.
• Experience leading onboarding redesign, process improvement, or organizational change initiatives.
• Experience applying Lean Six Sigma or similar methodologies; Green/Black Belt preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead onboarding stabilization and process improvement project from assessment through implementation.
• Map current and future-state onboarding workflows.
• Develop standardized onboarding tools, templates, SOPs, and documentation.
• Facilitate cross-functional workshops and process redesign sessions.
• Establish metrics and dashboards to monitor onboarding performance.
