Job summary

Pilgrims is hiring an Orientation Trainer to administer and evaluate new hire onboarding. You will supervise trainees, coordinate sessions, and work with HR to review materials and ensure smooth training operations in a plant setting.

Requirements include a high school diploma (associates preferred), strong organization, and proficient Microsoft Office skills. The role includes benefits and a Monday–Friday style shift with weekend rotations as needed.

Qualifications

• Previous training experience required.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Professional communication and demeanor.
• Able to present ideas clearly to employees.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Able to work independently in a plant/industrial environment.
• High School Diploma or GED; Associate degree preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Administer, track, and evaluate onboarding training.
• Supervise new hires during training and advise management.
• Develop and promote positive working relationships with new hires, peers, leaders and clients.
• Meet with HR and Benefits coordinators to review training materials and processes.
• Schedule and coordinate training for multiple sessions.
• Organize and maintain training venues, logistics, and equipment.
• Participate on HR & company committees.
• Assist HR with yearly Learning plan and training of all employees.
• Assist with HR during free time.
• All other duties as assigned.
