Job summary

Pilgrim’s is seeking an Onboarding Supervisor to oversee new hire integration on the production floor, from day one through 60 days or until the new hire is qualified. The role emphasizes safety, training delivery, and collaboration with HR and supervisors.

You will manage floor training metrics, supervise hands-on onboarding, build positive relationships with new hires and teams, and help ensure timely qualification and documentation.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; Associates preferred but not required; degree considered.
• Experience in training or onboarding is preferred.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Professional communication and demeanor; ability to present ideas clearly.
• Willingness to work in a plant/industrial environment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety policies are met by new hires.
• Manage the overall experience of new hires from day 1 to 60 days or until qualified.
• Administer, track, and evaluate floor training (hours, qualification status, attendance).
• Supervise hands-on training and recommend improvements to management/HR.
• Develop positive relationships with new hires, peers, leaders, and clients.
• Meet with supervisors and HR to review production processes and specifications.
• Participate on HR & company committees.
• Meet KPIs: 30- and 60-day retention, safety observations, and JSA completions.
• Ensure timely completion of training documents and trainee qualifications.
