Job summary

Goodwill Industries of Middle Georgia & the CSRA (GIMG) is seeking an Onboarding Specialist to deliver a welcoming, compliant onboarding experience across GIMG, Helms College, and Edgar’s Hospitality Group. You will manage the employee journey from offer to active employment, ensuring readiness, alignment with our mission, and proper systems access.

You will own HRIS administration, maintain accurate records, generate reports, and support onboarding improvements while upholding confidentiality

Qualifications

• 3+ years of administration and data management experience.
• 3+ years of experience with software systems (HR/finance).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Understanding of federal and state employment laws.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate end-to-end onboarding for new hires across GIMG, Helms College, and Edgar’s Hospitality Group.
• Maintain accurate employee records in HRIS, ATS, payroll, and other HR systems.
• Prepare recurring and ad hoc reports on headcount, onboarding activity, and demographics.
• Support payroll, benefits, compliance, and finance teams with timely data updates.
• Protect confidential information and ensure regulatory compliance.
