Job summary

Allied Fire Protection in Pearland, TX is seeking an Onboarding Specialist to manage pre-employment, onboarding, and apparel processes for new hires across office locations. You will serve as the administrative point of contact for offers, testing, and orientation, while supporting the Talent Acquisition Lead and coordinating with HR, Payroll, Safety, IT and Corporate Services.

Bachelor’s degree in HR, business or related field.
Minimum 3 years HR experience with recruitment or onboarding.
Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills.
Proficient with Microsoft Office.
Ability to work with internal/external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Administrative point of contact for offer letters, pre-employment testing, new hire paperwork, and orientation.
Support Talent Acquisition Lead in the hiring process and provide feedback for improvements.
Provide ADP Recruitment portal support for candidates and background checks.
Coordinate onboarding with HR, Payroll, Safety, IT, and Corporate Services.
Prepare New Hire packages and ensure timely delivery to offices.
Maintain inventory and place orders for New Hire merchandise and apparel.
Ensure completion of safety/compliance training before orientation end.
Sign off on onboarding day 1 and communicate completion to stakeholders.
Maintain employee records in ADP and manage job requisitions weekly.
