Job summary

Beacon Specialized Living seeks an Onboarding Specialist to coordinate new hire onboarding, ensure a smooth transition, and support compliance and engagement initiatives. You will act as the point of contact from offer through the first weeks, handling paperwork, IT setup, benefits enrollment, and tailored onboarding plans.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 years in onboarding or HR, with a background check and valid driver's license.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
1–3 years of onboarding, HR, or related administrative experience.
Successful completion of a criminal background check.
Must possess a valid driver’s license.
Proficient in speaking, reading, and writing English.
Must be approved to work within BSLS programs by applicable entities.

Responsibilities

Serve as the primary point of contact for new hires from offer acceptance through their first weeks of employment.
Coordinate onboarding logistics, including paperwork, background checks, benefits enrollment, and IT setup.
Partner with hiring managers to ensure onboarding plans are tailored to each new hire’s role.
Ensure compliance with company policies and employment laws throughout onboarding.
Maintain accurate onboarding records and update checklists and documentation.
Collect feedback from new hires and suggest improvements to onboarding processes.
Support ongoing employee engagement initiatives and other HR-related tasks as needed.
