Job summary

Arvato, a leading global 3PL and part of Bertelsmann, seeks an Onboarding Coordinator in the United States. You will manage end-to-end onboarding for new hires, serve as the primary contact, verify I-9s, background checks, and paperwork, and partner with HR, Recruiting, Security, IT, and operations to ensure a smooth first day.

The role requires 2+ years in HR/onboarding, an associate degree, and experience with UKG or similar HRIS.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in Human Resources, onboarding, recruiting coordination, employee services, or administrative support.
• Experience working with UKG or other HRIS platforms and onboarding systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all onboarding activities for newly hired employees.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for new hires before and during their onboarding experience.
• Verify completion of onboarding requirements, including badge creation documentation, offer documentation, background screening, employment authorization, and new hire paperwork, prior to orientation.
• Ensure completion, accuracy, and retention of required employment documentation, including Form I-9s and employment eligibility verification.
• Initiate, monitor, and verify background screening results and elevate any discrepancies for appropriate review.
• Maintain onboarding trackers, records, and reporting to ensure compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.
• Facilitate new hire orientation sessions and ensure completion of required onboarding documentation.
• Own the temp to hire conversion process including all administrative tasks.
• Communicate start dates, orientation schedules, reporting instructions, and first-day expectations.
• Create a welcoming and professional onboarding experience that reflects company culture and values.
