Job summary

DeWinter Group is seeking a Program Coordinator to drive onboarding for early talent programs in Redwood City, CA. You will partner with Talent Acquisition, People Operations, IT, and hiring managers to streamline onboarding logistics and ensure a smooth experience for new hires.

The role focuses on coordinating onboarding activities, managing records, and supporting internship and student programs, while contributing to a dynamic workplace culture with in-person engagements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in HR, recruiting, program or event coordination, or administrative support.
• Excellent organizational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Strong written and verbal communication with professional, service-oriented approach.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams and maintain confidentiality.
• Attention to detail and proactive attitude toward learning new systems and processes.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate pre-onboarding and onboarding activities from offer to first days.
• Coordinate onboarding logistics with Talent Acquisition, People Ops, IT and hiring managers.
• Maintain onboarding checklists, employee records, and HR system data with confidentiality.
• Oversee onboarding swag, welcome kits, inventory, ordering, assembly and shipping logistics.
• Coordinate new-hire orientation sessions, scheduling, material prep, attendance tracking and follow-ups.
• Support internship, fellowship, co-op and capstone student programs—scheduling, communications and events.
• Assist with employee engagement initiatives and related programs to foster a vibrant workplace culture.
