Job summary

PrimeFlight Aviation Services is seeking an Onboarding Specialist to coordinate the new hire process, including background checks, drug testing, and I-9 verification, ensuring compliance and accurate records. This role supports a fast-paced aviation environment with strong attention to detail and customer service focus.

You will work with recruiters and hiring managers to ensure a smooth onboarding experience for new employees, addressing delays and maintaining documentation in UKG and MS Office

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years in HR, recruitment coordination, or onboarding.
• Aviation or regulated industries experience preferred.
• Must be 18+ and eligible to work in the United States.
• Strong English communication skills (reading, writing, speaking).
• Regulatory knowledge: TSA/FAA background check requirements and E-Verify is a plus.
• Proficient in UKG and Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Initiate and monitor background checks, schedule drug tests, and complete I-9 verification for all new hires.
• Maintain accurate employee records to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Serve as primary point of contact for new hires during onboarding.
• Track onboarding progress and address delays to ensure timely completion.
• Collaborate with recruiters, hiring managers, and internal teams for smooth transitions.
• Perform any other tasks as assigned by management.
