Job summary

Security Industry Specialists, Inc. is seeking an Onboarding Assistant to support the hiring and onboarding process from offer through new hire integration.

The role involves coordinating background checks, licensing, and I-9 compliance, acting as the main point of contact for candidates and new hires, and ensuring timely onboarding across departments. Responsibilities include managing records, conducting 30/60/90-day touchpoints, and coordinating with departments to provide access and equipment

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Administration/HR management or equivalent.
• Two+ years of customer service or administrative experience in a high-volume environment.
• Proficient with PC and iOS systems and related software and applications.

Responsibilities

• Track completion of required background checks, drug screenings, I-9 verification, and licensing or certification requirements.
• Conduct initial candidate outreach by phone and email, serve as the point of contact, and follow up with candidates.
• Monitor licensing requirements and keep certifications current, escalating issues when needed.
• Maintain hiring records and document management systems for complete, retrievable files.
• Perform data entry to track candidates through each stage of the hiring process.
