Job summary

Payactiv, Inc. in Milpitas, CA seeks a Client Onboarding Manager to lead onboarding for employer clients, bridging sales to launch and driving adoption. You will coordinate with Activation/Product/Engineering/Support/Finance/Marketing to deliver value quickly.

Candidates bring 3–5 years in SaaS/fintech onboarding or customer success, strong communication, and a proven ability to manage multiple implementations with HR clients. Strong project management and risk mitigation are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience is required.
• 3–5 years of experience in Customer Success, Onboarding, Implementation, or Account Management within B2B or B2B2C SaaS/fintech.
• Experience working with HR / employer-based clients preferred.
• Strong project management and organizational skills with ability to manage multiple implementations simultaneously.
• Excellent problem-solving and risk management capabilities.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to present and influence executives.
• Proven ability to manage customer relationships and deliver high-quality service.
• Analytical mindset with ability to interpret data and drive actions.
• Experience with CRM tools such as Salesforce.
• AI-enabled mindset and familiarity with leveraging AI tools to enhance customer engagement, insights, and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage end-to-end onboarding for new employer clients.
• Establish timelines, milestones, and expectations for smooth implementation.
• Coordinate onboarding activities and ensure timely completion of all requirements.
• Serve as primary client contact during onboarding with HR and executives.
• Build strong relationships with customer stakeholders and drive engagement.
• Provide product training, guidance, and best practices to support adoption.
• Maintain onboarding progress docs and communicate status across teams.
• Identify risks early, manage escalations, and drive timely resolutions.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into delivery.
• Ensure high customer satisfaction and foundation for long-term retention.
