Job summary

HelpfulRemote is seeking a Senior Onboarding Manager to lead a team guiding new customers through software adoption, data migration, and payments setup. You will own the onboarding program end to end, including coaching for continued revenue growth and acting as an escalation point for complex issues.

You will partner with Sales, Product, and Customer Success, redesigning the program to drive measurable adoption and outcomes for clients across the SaaS/payments domain.

Job description

This role leads a team of onboarding managers responsible for guiding new customers through software adoption, digital workflow setup, and payments utilization. The manager owns the onboarding program end to end, from data migration and account activation to coaching customers toward continued revenue growth, while acting as an escalation point for complex issues and partnering with Sales, Product, and Customer Success.

Candidates need 6-10 years of experience in SaaS onboarding or implementation, including at least 3 years managing individual contributors and demonstrated success coaching a team to strong performance. The employer wants someone who has built or redesigned an onboarding program rather than just run an existing one, with experience driving measurable software or payments adoption. Background in association management, fund accounting, or vertical SaaS/ERP onboarding is expected.

This is a remote, full-time position open only to candidates based in the United States who can work Eastern time hours, with an anticipated 10% travel requirement. Pay ranges from $100,000 to $120,000 annually, inclusive of bonuses or commissions.
