Job summary

Hornblower Group, a global leader in experience and transportation, is seeking a prep cook to support events and galley operations aboard vessels and at event sites. You will prepare and plate buffet offerings, process deliveries, and keep stations sanitary.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years kitchen prep, knowledge of sanitation codes, and the ability to communicate with an English-speaking crew. California Food Handlers cert and TWIC/MMC readiness are preferred; training provided where needed.

Qualifications

• 1 to 2 years kitchen prep experience.
• Knowledge of health sanitation codes.
• California Food Handlers certificate.
• Able to obtain TWIC and MMC certification.
• Must be able to understand and communicate with English speaking crew.

Responsibilities

• Assist in stocking products from deliveries and maintain proper storage.
• Follow food production guidelines and prepare food within allotted time.
• Maintain safe and sanitary food standards and label/date all items.
• Monitor work areas and keep storage organized daily.
• Report tools or equipment needing repair or replacement.
