Job summary

Hornblower Corp is seeking a Cook to prepare and plate food for our events, assist with deliveries, and maintain sanitary workstations. You will follow prep lists and standard recipes, ensure proper food handling, and keep refrigeration areas clean and organized.

The role requires lifting-heavy items, availability for nights, weekends, and major holidays, and the ability to work in a warm environment while delivering strong customer service and teamwork.

Qualifications

• At least one year kitchen experience preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Must be able to lift and move heavy items.
• Available for nights, weekends and major holidays.

Responsibilities

• Prepare all food items using prep lists and standard recipes.
• Follow proper food handling procedures.
• Maintain rotation for top quality and freshness.
• Store leftovers correctly and label/date as required.
• Keep refrigerators and work areas clean and organized.
• Ensure stations are cleaned and sanitized at shift end.
• Maintain a safe and sanitary work environment per regulations.
• Follow safety policies and accident reporting procedures.
• Additional duties as assigned.
