Job summary

American Cruise Lines, the largest cruise line in the United States, seeks a Lead Line Cook for the 2026 season aboard America’s rivers. You will support the Executive/Sous Chef in preparing breakfast, lunch, and dinner, following menu matrices and accommodating dietary needs while delivering high-quality galley service.

Qualifications

• Lead Line Cook with responsibility for breakfast, lunch and dinner production.
• Ability to follow menu matrices and adapt to dietary needs and allergies.
• Strong organizational and communication skills in English.

Responsibilities

• Control inventory and minimize food waste via standardized recipes.
• Acknowledge and prepare all special requests and allergies.
• Maintain strict food safety and sanitation in the galley.
• Provide hospitality to guests and crew with safety and efficiency.
• Adhere to chefs manual standards and procedures.
• Lead and guide a small galley team of three crew members.
• Ensure proper storage and daily galley, temperature and logs.
• Assist in breakfast, lunch, dinner preparation and onboard events.
