American Cruise Lines, the largest cruise line in the United States, is seeking Lead Line Cooks for the 2026 season aboard ships operating America’s rivers. You will assist the Executive Chef/Sous Chef with breakfast, lunch, and dinner preparation and service in accordance with the menu matrix and dietary needs, delivering a first-class dining experience.

This full-time onboard role emphasizes food safety, galley organization, and teamwork in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in full-service restaurant, hotel, resort, or cruise ship.
• Line cook experience with breakfast, lunch, dinner, and buffets.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist Executive/Sous Chef with menu execution and food prep.
• Ensure food safety, sanitation, and proper galley operations.
• Maintain inventory, minimize waste, and adhere to recipes.
• Lead and supervise galley staff during service periods.
• Coordinate with chefs to ensure timely, high-quality meals.
