Job summary

American Cruise Lines, the largest USA flagged cruise line in the United States, seeks an Excursions Director to lead shore excursions, explorations and adventures aboard our ships for the 2026 season.

You will be responsible for all shore excursions, vendor communications, and brand representation with guests, coordinating logistics and delivering engaging experiences while managing inventory, invoicing, and on-board events. This is a full-time role with long hours onboard.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in hospitality, tourism, or event management preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong public speaking skills.
• Excellent time management and attention to detail.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. geography preferred.
• TWIC credential.

Responsibilities

• Arrange and confirm all shore excursions and transfers.
• Coordinate with vendors and ground operators for timely service.
• Lead guest on excursions as brand ambassador.
• Present detailed excursion briefings to guests.
• Promote on-board sales and loyalty programs.
• Inform crew and Home Office on cruise status and excursions.
