Job summary

RB Global in Commerce City, CO is hiring for a Branch Operations Assistant to support yard and office functions during live auctions. Responsibilities include processing orders, data entry, and assisting with vehicle check-in and maintenance throughout the sale process.

You will perform clerical duties, assist with loader operations, and ensure vehicles are recorded and prepared to maximize value at auction. A forklift skill set and willingness to learn are required.

Qualifications

• Strong leadership and ability to work independently.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with customers and towers.
• Willing to learn forklift operation within 90 days of starting.
• General mechanical knowledge of vehicles and related equipment.
• Experience in equipment rental or construction industry preferred.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
• Awareness of safety hazards around heavy equipment and outdoors.
• Outdoor work in all weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer support via mail, phone, and in person.
• Process orders, enter data, and reference pricing information.
• Respond to questions, complaints, and requests.
• Perform clerical duties, filing, and paper work for auction day.
• Record and secure approvals for vehicle check-in and paperwork.
• Detail vehicles to improve appearance for auction value.
• Safely operate vehicles to move and store them on site.
• Assist visitors and direct to appropriate staff.
• Loader operation as needed and acceptable.
• Report policy violations to supervisor promptly.
• Support Yard Attendants and Customer Service Representatives.
• Other duties as needed by the business.
