Job summary

MC Machinery Systems, Inc. is seeking a Wire EDM Field Service Technician in Elk Grove Village, IL. This role requires traveling to customer facilities to diagnose and repair complex Mitsubishi Machining products on-site, Monday through Friday.

You will interpret schematics, perform mechanical and electrical repairs, and document resolutions. The position emphasizes safety, teamwork, and strong communication as you support customers across the US and occasionally internationally.

Qualifications

• 2-year Electronic or Technical Degree, or equivalent experience.
• Ability to read electrical/mechanical schematics.
• Experience with electrical measurement and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Travel to customer locations to diagnose complex technical problems and perform on-site repair
• Examine machines mechanically and electrically to perform repairs by dismantling machines and rebuilding as needed
• Diagnose technical problems and troubleshoot via telephone
• Communicate professionally and effectively with customers
• Effectively interpret schematics and block diagrams to analyze and troubleshoot problems
• Document in detail product problems and resolutions
• Other duties as assigned
