The position emphasizes mechanical and electrical knowledge, ability to read drawings, and strong communication while maintaining customer relations and accurate documentation. Travel primarily within the US; some international assignments possible.

Qualifications

• 2-year Electronic or Technical Degree or equivalent experience.
• Experience with electrical measurement and inspection techniques.
• Experience troubleshooting and repairing mechanical problems.
• Familiarity with mechanical measurement tools (Dial Indicators, Micrometers, Calipers).

Responsibilities

• Travel to customer locations to diagnose complex technical problems and perform on-site repair
• Examine machines mechanically and electrically to perform repairs by dismantling and rebuilding as needed
• Diagnose technical problems and troubleshoot via telephone
• Communicate professionally with customers
• Interpret schematics and block diagrams to analyze and troubleshoot problems
• Document product problems and resolutions
• Other duties as assigned
