Job summary

AtkinsRéalis is seeking a Senior Construction Manager to oversee water infrastructure construction in Houston, TX. The role requires full-time on-site leadership, strict schedule control, and coordination with engineers and contractors to ensure design intent and contract requirements are met.

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 10 years in heavy civil or infrastructure construction, with strong skills in reading drawings, coordinating teams, and maintaining rigorous safety

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
• Minimum of 10 years of construction management experience on heavy civil, marine, facility, or infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and safety regulations.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and contracts.

Responsibilities

• Provide full-time, on-site management of construction activities from mobilization through project closeout.
• Monitor contractor performance to ensure work is in accordance with plans, specs, and contract requirements.
• Enforce adherence to project schedules, identify delays, and coordinate corrective actions with contractors.
• Conduct daily site observations and maintain detailed field reports.
