Job summary

HDR in North Texas is seeking a Senior Construction Manager to lead construction services for the South-Central Water Business Group. You will manage subcontractor coordination, control schedules and budgets, and ensure QA/QC and safety compliance throughout project execution.

The role requires a track record in water/wastewater construction, strong stakeholder engagement, and the ability to work within an employee-owned culture. Travel within the region may be required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
  • Minimum 10 years in construction planning and management.
  • Experience with MS Office.
  • Experience with Procore, Prolog, Primavera or Bluebeam.
  • Strong communication with Owner, Engineer, Contractor.
  • Sponsorship (visa) for US employment is not available.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate subcontractors, schedules, and quality control.
  • Develop PM Plan and Construction Management Plan.
  • Administer construction activities and budgets.
  • Monitor design progression relative to construction needs.
  • Prepare and negotiate Change Orders; review schedules.
  • Coordinate and manage project QA/QC and safety programs.
  • Coordinate bidding, procurement, and subcontracts.
  • Prepare progress reports and pay applications.
