AtkinsRéalis is seeking a Senior Construction Manager to lead on-site construction activities in Houston, TX. The role emphasizes coordinating contractors, aligning field work with design drawings, and maintaining project schedules while upholding safety and quality standards.

You will act as the client’s representative, coordinating with engineers and operations to resolve issues and deliver a compliant project on time and within budget. This is a 100% on-site, fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of construction management experience.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and safety regulations.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and contracts.
• Excellent coordination and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced, field environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide full-time, on-site management of construction activities from mobilization through project closeout.
• Monitor contractor performance to ensure work meets plans, specs, and contract requirements.
• Enforce adherence to project schedules and coordinate corrective actions with contractors.
• Coordinate on-site for contractors and subcontractors; lead regular coordination meetings.
• Review submittals, RFIs, and work plans with engineering teams.
• Act as liaison between field teams and design engineers; ensure alignment with drawings and specs.
• Represent the client’s interests and communicate progress, risks, and issues clearly.
