Job summary

Stantec is hiring a Construction Field Inspector for our Water-US South team in the Kentucky region. The role focuses on on-site inspection across projects, enforcing safety and quality per design and contract documents.

You will coordinate with engineers, contractors, and client reps, document findings, and support field testing and reporting. Ideal candidates have 5+ years in construction inspection, strong HSSE awareness, and the ability to travel regionally with overnight stays.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ related construction inspection experience preferred.
• A valid driver’s license and ability to travel extensively required.
• ACI Level 1 Field Concrete Technician or NICET certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Serve as on-site safety representative and maintain a safe work environment.
• Act as liaison between engineer, contractor, and client representatives.
• Oversee tests, document results, and maintain progress records.
• Operate testing equipment and monitor field quality compliance.
• Maintain daily reports, RFIs, submittals, and non-conformance records.
• Attend project meetings and travel as needed within the region.
