Job summary

Stantec is seeking a full-time Construction Field Inspector for our Water Business Line. The role focuses on field construction activities, quality oversight, and daily reporting to ensure compliance with project documents.

The position requires travel in the region, with overnight stays and some weekend work. Ideal candidates have HS diploma or equivalent and 5+ years of related experience, plus the ability to read plans, specifications, and quality plans.

Qualifications

• Experience in field construction activities and construction quality management.
• Familiarity with HSSE policies and client-specific training.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Stantec’s on-site safety representative and maintain a safe work environment.
• Act as liaison between the engineer and the contractor.
• Interact with client and contractor representatives and the Stantec team.
• Oversee testing and maintain project documentation.
• Travel extensively in the region with overnight stays and weekend work.
• Review daily construction issues with design team, client, and contractors to resolve.
