Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Senior Construction Inspector to support our Construction Management Services delivery on water/wastewater projects. The role focuses on field inspection, quality control, and coordination with contractors to ensure compliance with plans, specs, and codes.

You will develop QA/QC documentation, participate in progress meetings, and help manage non-conformances in a safety-conscious environment.

Qualifications

• Experience inspecting construction contractor work in water/wastewater projects.
• Ability to prepare and maintain Daily Reports with photos.
• Knowledge of quality and safety requirements for public construction projects.

Responsibilities

• Provide field inspection of the contractor's work representing the Construction Manager in the field.
• Prepare daily written reports with observations, quantities, labor and equipment usage, and photos.
• Communicate conformance or non-conformance to standards, plans, specifications, and codes with contractors.
• Review submittals, RFIs, and incorporate into the quality control inspection plan.
• Attend Weekly Progress Meetings and support schedule reviews.
