Stantec is seeking a full-time Construction Field Inspector to support the Water Business Line across multiple sites in Kentucky, Indiana, Ohio, Tennessee, and Georgia regions, with Georgia locations including Alpharetta. This role emphasizes on-site inspection, safety leadership, and coordination with engineers and contractors.

The position is primarily field-based, requiring travel in the region, detailed documentation, and adherence to project design and contract documents.

Qualifications

• Experience performing field inspections on construction projects.
• Ability to oversee testing and document results.
• Strong communication with clients, engineers, and contractors.

Responsibilities

• Serve as on-site safety representative and maintain safe working conditions.
• Act as liaison between engineer and contractor.
• Interact with client and contractor representatives.
• Oversee testing and maintain documentation per project documents.
• Operate testing and monitoring equipment.
• Track progress, issues, and resolutions.
• Review daily construction issues with design team and client.
• Monitor adherence to contract and design documents.
• Communicate discrepancies to design team and client.
• Maintain daily reports, RFIs, submittals, and non-conformance reports.
• Attend daily/weekly/monthly field meetings.
• Travel extensively with overnight stays and weekend work.
