Job summary

trak group is seeking a hands-on Systems Administrator to provide on-site IT support at its Grove City, Ohio facility. This role blends Tier 1–2 support with systems administration, network troubleshooting, and infrastructure maintenance in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

You will manage Google Workspace and JumpCloud, handle ticketing via FreshService, and maintain documentation while delivering excellent customer service to local and remote employees.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of hands-on IT support or helpdesk experience, including Tier 1 and Tier 2 troubleshooting.
• Strong technical knowledge of Windows and macOS operating systems.
• Experience troubleshooting desktop and laptop hardware, software, and user access issues.
• Proficiency administering Google Workspace.
• Proficiency administering JumpCloud.
• Experience using FreshService or a similar enterprise ITSM/ticketing platform.
• Strong understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, Wi‑Fi).
• Hands-on experience with server and network hardware maintenance.
• Experience managing user accounts, permissions, and access provisioning.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong customer service mindset to support employees at all skill levels.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary on-site IT contact for hardware, software, and technical support requests.
• Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 troubleshooting for Windows and Apple devices.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, OS, application, and user access issues.
• Support employees through walk-in requests, remote assistance, and helpdesk tickets.
• Manage, prioritize, and resolve support tickets using FreshService and document status to SLA.
• Maintain technical documentation and knowledge base resources.
