Job summary

PepsiCo is seeking a skilled technician to install, set up, repair and maintain vending, cooling and fountain equipment at customer accounts. You will diagnose equipment problems, determine whether to repair or replace components, work independently and maintain frequent customer contact, often handling heavy loads and equipment weighing up to 1200 pounds.

Qualifications

• Experience repairing appliances and mechanical systems.
• Strong problem-solving and diagnostic abilities.
• Ability to communicate with customers while performing service.
• Familiarity with electrical, plumbing and basic HVAC concepts.

Responsibilities

• Repair and perform preventative maintenance on vending and cooling equipment.
• Unload and reload products as necessary.
• Install equipment by routing lines and connecting utilities.
• Prioritize and schedule service and PM calls to meet windows.
• Travel to locations and perform repairs, including plumbing/electrical.
• Complete paperwork and maintain service truck inventory.
