Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated is seeking a Utilities Technician to perform repairs and inspections of building utility equipment on-site in San Lorenzo, PR. The role focuses on chillers, cooling towers, boilers, air compressors, HVAC systems, generators, electrical substations, and high/low voltage distribution, working with the facilities team to maintain reliability.

Qualifications

• Experience with coordinating preventive, corrective and predictive maintenance.
• Ability to read and interpret equipment schematics and manuals.
• Knowledge of safety rules for energized work, working at heights, confined spaces.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance with minimal building service disruption.
• Order parts and equipment for repairs or installations.
• Follow safe work practices, including energized work, heights, and confined spaces.
• Identify and mitigate risks, and use appropriate PPE.
• Coordinate operation of pumps, valves, pressures, and flows in the system.
• Collect water samples and measure residual chlorine and turbidity to ensure treatment effectiveness.
