Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle in Chicago, IL seeks a maintenance technician to perform preventive and repair work on facility systems. You will maintain HVAC and building systems, monitor contractor work, and ensure readings are recorded accurately.

This onsite role requires driving, safety awareness, and timely responses to inquiries, with ongoing administrative duties such as updating work orders and submitting receipts.

• PPE compliance required in all tasks.
• Client-facing communication with customers and site personnel.
• Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and repair work orders on facility mechanical, electrical and other systems.
• Maintain HVAC systems and equipment and related building systems.
• Monitor pricing and quality of work by outside contractors.
• Record readings and adjust equipment to ensure proper operation.
• Submit P-card receipts daily and update work orders in real time.
• Escalate issues to Customer and Manager promptly and attend safety meetings.
