Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle in Houston, TX, is seeking an HVAC Technician to operate, inspect, and maintain HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and related equipment across assigned properties. You will perform preventive maintenance, respond to repairs, and help ensure energy efficiency and safety for building occupants.

The role requires Universal CFC recovery certification, a valid driver’s license, and technical expertise in at least one craft area (Electrical, HVAC, Piping/Plumbing, Central Utility Plant

Qualifications

• Universal CFC recovery certification is required.
• Valid state driver's license with ability to maintain good standing and vehicle inspections.
• Technical expertise in at least one core craft area: Electrical, HVAC, Piping/Plumbing, Central Utility Plant Operations, or Material Handling Equipment.
• Strong knowledge of overall HVAC system design and applications.
• Ability to lift up to 80 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks including climbing and overhead work.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and respond to repair work orders on facility systems.
• Operate, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair all HVAC systems and related equipment.
• Conduct interior and exterior repairs on walls, floors, roofing, lighting and fixtures.
• Study and become proficient with equipment types and building automation systems.
• Execute facility inspections and due diligence, documenting conditions affecting occupancy.
• Monitor equipment performance for energy efficiency and safety, keeping detailed records.
• Respond to call-in work requests and assist with additional duties as needed.
