Job summary

SkyChefs is seeking a Transportation Supervisor for our Dallas operation to lead a 20+ member team in a fast-paced 24/7 environment. You will ensure on-time meals and flight readiness, manage routes and schedules, and uphold safety and service standards in coordination with airline partners.

The role requires a strong leader with DOT knowledge, CDL familiarity, and experience with routing software and TMS. Flexibility for evenings or overnight shifts is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 3+ years of supervision in transportation or logistics.
• Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and transportation safety standards.
• Experience with routing software and transportation management systems.
• Excellent leadership, communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours and respond to operational needs.
• CDL license or experience managing CDL drivers.
• Lean or Six Sigma knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Ensure area is organized, staffed and directed; delivery times met.
• Schedule and control staff to meet productivity targets.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards (FDA, USDA, OSHA, EPA, DOT, HACCP).
• Document and drive department process improvements.
• Ensure on-time and accurate production/catering for all flights.
• Monitor safety regulations compliance.
• Other duties as needed.
