You will oversee transportation supervisors, dispatch teams, drivers, and support staff, with accountability for on-time delivery and cost management.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of leadership in high-volume operations, with experience managing large teams and improving efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• 5+ years of progressive leadership experience in manufacturing, logistics, or high-volume operations.
• Experience leading multiple departments through frontline supervisors.
• Experience managing 100+ hourly employees.
• Strong coaching and accountability for performance.
• Labor management and productivity improvement experience.
• Experience in regulated environments (FDA/HACCP/GMP) is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage catering deliveries to aircraft by coordinating high-lift trucks, transport vehicles, and support equipment to ensure accurate and timely meal deliveries to outbound flights.
• Drive on-time performance and schedule compliance by ensuring catering services are delivered within required aircraft turnaround times and operational deadlines.
• Coordinate with airline and airport operations teams to support seamless flight departures.
• Manage last-minute operational changes such as flight delays, gate reassignments, aircraft swaps, and special meal requests.
• Maintain safety and regulatory compliance with airport security protocols, airside driving regulations, and food safety standards.
• Oversee fleet and equipment management, reporting defects and coordinating maintenance.
• Track and analyze performance metrics such as on-time delivery, service quality, and labor productivity.
• Identify process gaps and implement solutions to improve performance and customer satisfaction.
