Job summary

Asset Living is seeking a Temporary Community Manager to oversee operations of a housing community on-site. You will supervise staff, manage leasing, maintenance, budgeting, and compliance with safety and fair housing guidelines.

Regular on-site attendance and strong leadership are essential. Qualifications include a High School Diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s preferred), CAM/ARM preferred, and knowledge of housing laws.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent; Bachelor's degree preferred or four years’ experience in the housing industry; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Certified Apartment Manager (CAM) or Accredited Resident Manager (ARM) preferred.
• Ability to understand and perform all on-site software functions; basic computer skills required.
• Must have basic knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operations of a housing community under supervision of Regional Manager.
• Supervise all aspects of the property and staff to ensure compliance with policies and safety guidelines.
• Develop yearly operating budgets/forecasts and monitor deposits, rent collections, and charges.
• Manage leasing, marketing plan development, and resident retention programs.
• Ensure staff compliance with company policies and provide training and coaching.
• Head the emergency team for the property and handle on-call emergencies.
