Job summary

thyssenkrupp Supply Chain Services is seeking a hands-on Onsite Supervisor to manage a work area, train staff, and coordinate daily operations on the warehouse floor. You will monitor activities, ensure quality and safety compliance, and report performance to the Onsite Manager.

The role requires leading up to 15 people, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work varying shifts. Prior forklift experience and experience in industrial settings are a plus; training is available.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience as a team lead or supervisor.
• Strong leadership and multi-tasking ability.
• Ability to manage a team of up to 15 people.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to work days, afternoons, nights, overtime and weekend shifts.
• Forklift experience a plus; willingness to train.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the inspection process and ensure product quality for assigned tables.
• Lead by example, stay organized, and maintain good housekeeping in the facility.
• Ensure safety policies are followed and report incidents immediately.
• Coordinate shift start activities and prepare required paperwork.
• Ensure tools and materials are available to complete on-site jobs.
• Provide on-the-job training for new work instructions when applicable.
• Be accountable for personnel assigned to specific jobs and report progress to the Onsite Manager.
• Maintain documentation and timely reporting; support health and safety initiatives.
• Interact with the Customer to ensure satisfaction and alignment with requirements.
