Job summary

thyssenkrupp Supply Chain Services in Kyle, TX, seeks a Warehouse Team Lead I to supervise the assigned area, train staff, and ensure on‑time, compliant work with customers. You will coordinate shift start activities, manage tools and PPE, and uphold safety and quality standards on the warehouse floor.

You will interact with customers at all management levels, monitor inspections, and provide input to the Onsite Manager on objectives and performance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience as a team lead or supervisor.
• Strong leadership and multi-tasking ability.
• Ability to manage a team of up to 15 people.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Willingness to work days, afternoons, nights, overtime and weekend shifts.
• Reliable attendance.
• Experience in automotive or industrial setting is a plus.
• Comfortable with scanners and tablets for data entry.
• Basic English reading/writing/speaking.

Responsibilities

• Oversee inspection of customer products for assigned tables.
• Lead by example and maintain good housekeeping in the facility.
• Ensure safety compliance with health and safety policies.
• Report accidents or incidents to supervisor immediately.
• Coordinate shift start activities (table requirements, paperwork).
• Ensure tools, materials, PPE and certifications are available on site.
• Provide on‑the‑job training for new work instructions.
• Be accountable for all personnel assigned to specific jobs.
• Provide input to Onsite Manager on objectives and tasks.
• Report policy violations to Onsite Manager.
• Participate in health and safety initiatives.
• Interact with Customer to ensure satisfaction.
• Ensure daily documentation and paperwork are submitted.
• Maintain badge access as required.
• Perform cycle time studies to support job quoting.
