Thyssenkrupp in Kansas is seeking a Warehouse Team Lead I to coordinate the assigned work area on the shop floor, train staff, and ensure customer requirements are met while following quality and safety processes.

The role involves supervising up to 15 team members, maintaining tool kits, coordinating shift start activities, and reporting to the Onsite Manager on progress and safety compliance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience as a team lead or supervisor preferred.
• Strong leadership and multi-tasking ability.
• Ability to manage a team of up to 15 people.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to work days, afternoons, nights, overtime and weekend shifts.
• Reliable attendance is essential.
• Experience in automotive or industrial setting is an asset (training provided).
• Comfort with scanners and tablets for data keeping/time entries.
• Professional interactions with customers/vendors.
• Must read, write and speak basic English.
• Computer literate (MS Word/Excel/PowerPoint, email).
• Safety mindset required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee inspection process for customer products.
• Lead by example and maintain organization and housekeeping.
• Ensure safety policies are followed and report incidents.
• Coordinate start-of-shift activities and essential duties.
• Ensure tools/materials are available for on-site work.
• Provide on-the-job training for new instructions.
• Be accountable for personnel assigned to jobs.
• Provide input to Onsite Manager on task completion.
• Report policy/procedure violations to Onsite Manager.
• Support health and safety initiatives.
• Interact with customer regularly to ensure satisfaction.
• Maintain proper documentation and paperwork daily.
• Ensure tool kits, PPE, and materials are available for job completion.
