Job summary

The Southern California Mountains Foundation is hiring a full-time Conservation Corps Supervisor in San Bernardino, CA. This role is crucial in guiding youth on various conservation projects, including recycling and trail building, while fostering a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of High School Diploma.
• At least two years of experience in a conservation corps or related field.
• Excellent organizational, leadership, interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience working with diverse young adults and those involved with the justice system.
• Familiarity with community-based agencies and attention to detail.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable Motor Vehicle Record.

Responsibilities

• Work on conservation and recycling projects with corpsmembers.
• Provide supervisory oversight and ensure quality work.
• Serve as project liaison to managers and clients.
• Manage daily crew logistics and participant safety.
• Collaborate with UCCIE Managers on purchasing equipment.
