Job summary

San Jose Conservation Corps + Charter School is seeking a Field Site Supervisor I to lead environmental projects in city and county parks, including trails, restoration, and safety-focused operations. The role requires managing a small crew of Corpsmembers aged 18–27, coordinating transport, and ensuring project quality.

The position is 100% in person at San Jose locations with occasional travel to related sites.

Qualifications

• Experience in field site supervision or crew leadership is preferred.
• Ability to manage 4-9 Corpsmembers and coordinate field projects.
• Strong safety mindset and ability to train others in CPR/First Aid and related safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Transport crew to job sites with equipment trailer in tow.
• Lead a crew on projects like trails, invasive species removal, and habitat restoration.
• Plan manpower, materials, and equipment per project to meet timelines.
