Job summary

Los Angeles Conservation Corps seeks a Crew Supervisor to lead a small team of 5–12 program participants aged 18–24, guiding them through conservation and service projects in the LA area.

You will coordinate work, provide educational support, ensure safety, and maintain equipment, while training the team and reporting on progress to sponsors. This role emphasizes leadership and employability skills through hands-on field assignments.

Qualifications

• Supervisory, project management and logistics experience.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and report writing.
• Ability to work with diverse populations and motivate youth.
• Drivers license and clean driving record may be required.

Responsibilities

• Motivate and supervise crew of 5–12 participants aged 18–24.
• Develop educational and work skills through projects.
• Coordinate work projects and scheduling, report progress.
• Ensure safety, proper equipment maintenance, and site quality.
• Train and guide the team in project development tasks.
• Liaise with project sponsors and home organizations.
• Prepare daily and monthly project reports.
