Job summary

RECON is seeking a Superintendent in Millville, NJ to plan and oversee on-site environmental remediation and earthwork construction projects. You will supervise crews, manage equipment and subcontractors, and ensure safety and quality control in daily operations.

Responsibilities include coordinating with project management, preparing daily reports, tracking production, and maintaining schedule adherence while ensuring compliance with contract specifications.

Qualifications

• Ten or more years of construction experience with field supervision.
• Direct oversight of crew, heavy equipment, and on-site operations.
• Strong MGP remediation and ISS experience required.
• Experience in earthwork, soil stabilization, environmental remediation, or landfill closure.
• Must pass safety policies and wear PPE.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the crew on-site and manage execution of soil and earthwork construction.
• Monitor daily progress per schedule, drawings, and specs.
• Ensure safety culture and compliance with plans and policies.
• Lead daily safety meetings and training of craft employees.
• Develop daily reports, time sheets, and production tracking.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and manage equipment inventory.
• Ensure quality standards and contract scope compliance.
• Investigate incidents with safety team.
