Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; technical training a plus.
• Experience in mechanical/electrical environments.
• Basic understanding of electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Knowledge of lock out/tag out procedures.
• Familiarity with solar installations.
• Knowledge of testing equipment.
• Proficient in basic computer use.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
• NFPA 70e safety training certification.
• Staying current in safety and technical trainings.
• Strong English communication and organizational skills.
• Willingness to travel up to 10% and work remotely when needed.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Ability to work on-call and in extreme weather.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize safety and follow safe work practices.
• Operate and care for company property and tooling.
• Service solar equipment at multiple plants under supervision.
• Perform testing, troubleshooting and maintenance under supervision.
• Replace or repair solar parts under supervision.
• Respond on-call for emergency repairs.
• Prepare accurate reports of work performed.
• Collaborate with EPC management on improvements.
• Support diversity and inclusion in SOLV Energy culture.
