Job summary

SOLV Energy in Castle Dale, UT is seeking a Solar Field Service Technician, Level 1, to perform field maintenance and follow safe work practices in the solar industry. This full-time on-site role will work at a jobsite in Castle Dale, UT, with interview-stage location details.

You will learn to service solar equipment across plants, perform basic testing and maintenance under supervision, handle on-call duties, and prepare reports.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; technical training a plus.
• Basic understanding of electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Ability to perform lock out/tag out procedures.
• Willingness to learn basic solar plant maintenance and testing.
• Proficient in basic computer operation and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Safely perform field maintenance on solar equipment.
• Operate and care for company property, equipment and tooling.
• Perform basic testing, troubleshooting and maintenance under supervision.
• Replace or repair solar parts under supervision.
• Respond to on-call requests for emergency repairs.
• Prepare accurate reports documenting work performed.
• Collaborate on process improvements and new technologies.
