Job summary

Solv Energy is seeking a Solar Field Service Technician, Level 1, to perform field maintenance and learn to follow safe work practices in the solar industry. This full-time role is on-site at a Kirtland, NM jobsite, with duties including basic testing and maintenance under supervision.

Qualifications include a High School Diploma or GED and basic understanding of electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. Travel up to 10% for training and site coverage is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; technical training a plus.
• Basic understanding of electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions; safety training emphasized.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize safety and follow safe work practices.
• Operate and care for company equipment and tooling.
• Service solar equipment at multiple plants under supervision.
• Perform basic testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance with monitoring programs.
• Replace or repair solar parts under supervision.
• Respond to on-call duties as directed by supervisor.
• Document and report work performed accurately.
• Collaborate on process improvements with EPC management.
