Job summary

SOLV Energy, Inc. is seeking a Solar Field Service Technician (Level 1) for a full-time on-site role in Coyanosa, TX. You will learn and perform field maintenance, safely applying procedures while supporting solar plants under supervision.

This position emphasizes safety, accurate reporting, and teamwork. Responsibilities include basic testing and troubleshooting of solar equipment, operating and caring for tools, and occasional on-call support.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; vocational training a plus.
• Ability to work in a mechanical/electrical environment.
• Basic knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Lock Out/Tag Out experience and safe work practices.
• Willingness to travel up to 10% for training/site coverage.

Responsibilities

• Work safely and follow company policies and procedures.
• Operate and care for company property, equipment, and tooling.
• Service solar equipment in multiple plants under supervision.
• Perform basic solar equipment testing and troubleshooting.
• Replace or repair solar parts under supervision.
• Be on-call as directed by supervisor for emergency repairs.
• Prepare accurate reports of work performed.
