Job summary

W.W. Grainger, Inc. is hiring a part-time On-Site Service Representative in Montgomery, AL. You will manage inventory at customer locations, deliver outstanding service, and assist with KeepStock programs while collaborating with sales partners to grow Grainger’s MRO solutions.

The position emphasizes safe working practices, route adherence, and proactive problem-solving to serve customers efficiently.

Qualifications

• 3 years' experience in selling or service environment.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to lift 25 to 60lbs and/or work in difficult positions.
• Valid driver's license in State of residence and required automobile insurance.
• Collaboration and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Receive and stock purchased product in designated customer locations; maintain stocking levels.
• Resolve customer problems promptly to retain loyalty.
• Follow routing software-defined routes and maintain route guides.
• Identify opportunities to improve productivity, processes, and cycle time.
• Comply with safety and inspection requirements of the facility.
• Help create new orders by engaging customers to identify additional product needs.
• Probe for customer needs during site visits and work with sales partners to expand Grainger offerings.
