Salient Motion in Hawthorne/Torrance, CA is seeking a Senior Technical Recruiter to anchor the on-site recruiting function as we scale our engineering hiring. You will own full-cycle recruiting for core engineering requisitions and take on a significant share of the current hiring load, reporting to the Head of People & Talent.

This high-ownership role requires partnering with engineering leadership, sourcing passive candidates in aerospace/defense/robotics, and driving effective hiring

Qualifications

• 5+ years of full-cycle technical recruiting experience
• Experience hiring hardware/embedded/engineering roles
• Ability to operate with autonomy and partner with leadership
• Experience with ATS platforms and modern sourcing tools

Responsibilities

• Own full-cycle recruiting for core engineering requisitions (hardware, embedded/firmware, controls, software)
• Take on significant portion of hiring load to scale quickly
• Serve as senior on-site recruiting contact for engineering leadership
• Define hiring criteria and build role-specific sourcing strategies
• Proactively source passive candidates in aerospace, defense, robotics, and related fields
• Manage candidate experience end-to-end: screening, interviews, offers, closing
• Develop hiring processes, interview scorecards, and rapid headcount processes
• Track pipeline health, time-to-fill, and funnel metrics
• Navigate defense-adjacent compliance with Legal/People teams
