Job summary

Relativity Space is seeking full-cycle Technical Recruiters to partner with manufacturing, operations, and design engineering in Long Beach, delivering top hardware talent onsite.

You will source, engage, manage, and close candidates, build scalable interview processes, and advocate for an excellent candidate experience while collaborating with hiring managers to meet ambitious hiring goals.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of full-cycle technical recruiting experience in fast-growing companies.
  • Proven track record of sourcing passive talent and filling early-to-mid career roles.
  • Experience partnering with hiring managers to develop sourcing strategies.
  • Experience negotiating offers and closing top talent with creative strategies.
  • Experience improving recruiting processes for efficiency and effectiveness.

Responsibilities

  • Become a subject matter expert in hardware technical recruiting and partner with senior leaders and hiring managers to define top talent.
  • Develop creative strategies to engage passive candidates using market insights and data to close candidates.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to hiring managers and interview teams within Manufacturing Engineering.
  • Develop and implement ideas to strengthen the recruiting funnel, build equitable interview processes, evaluate and introduce new tools, and stay informed on industry trends.
  • Advocate for an exceptional candidate experience throughout the hiring process.
  • Onsite requirement: This is a fully onsite role based at our Long Beach headquarters. You will work onsite five days per week.

About the Role:

Our Talent Acquisition team is seeking full-cycle Technical Recruiters (3 of them) to build strong, collaborative partnerships with hiring managers, understand their hiring goals, and develop effective recruiting strategies. Theseroles support several Long Beach–based organizations, with openings aligned to Manufacturing, Operations and Design Engineering.

You will partner closely with hiring managers to gain a deep understanding of their teams, projects, and talent needs. You will be responsible for sourcing, engaging, managing, and closing high-performing candidates throughout the full recruiting lifecycle.

  • Become a subject matter expert in hardware technical recruiting and partner closely with senior leaders and hiring managers to define and identify top talent in this field
  • Develop creative strategies to engage passive candidates, leveraging industry expertise, market insights, and data to effectively close candidates
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to hiring managers and interview teams within Manufacturing Engineering
  • Develop and implement ideas to strengthen the recruiting funnel, build equitable interview processes, evaluate and introduce new tools, and stay informed on industry technology trends and competitive market data
  • Advocate for an exceptional candidate experience throughout the hiring process
  • Onsite requirement: This is a fully onsite role based at our Long Beach headquarters. You can expect to work onsite five days per week to support interviews, team meetings, and hiring manager discussions

About You:

  • 3+ years of full-cycle technical recruiting experience within fast-scaling, high-growth organizations
  • Proven track record of sourcing passive talent and successfully filling early- to mid-career roles
  • Demonstrated experience partnering with hiring managers to develop and execute targeted sourcing strategies
  • Experience negotiating offers and using creative closing strategies to secure top talent
  • Experience improving recruiting processes to drive greater efficiency and effectiveness

Nice to haves but not required:

  • Experience recruiting for rapidly scaling hardware and manufacturing organizations
  • Experience managing both high-volume, non-exempt hiring and specialized exempt searches simultaneously
  • Ability to quickly pivot between departments, priorities, and hiring needs
